Saved Two Puppies Abandoned In The Garbage

We have told you many stories about animal abuse; some have turned out well, thanks to someone’s good heart, others less so. The story we are about to tell you has deeply indignant, but it has a happy ending. It concerns two abandoned puppies.

The two dogs were not found together, they are two distinct cases that occurred in Spain, one near Madrid, the other near Murcia.

Two abandoned puppies: same story in different places

The puppies were found in two distant places and in different health conditions, but they have one thing in common: they were abandoned in the garbage can.

The case of Murcia

He was just a puppy when a man caught a glimpse of him in the garbage in Abarán, a Spanish town in Murcia. It was tiny and whoever left it there also thought of wrapping its face with adhesive tape, so that it would not emit any sound; he didn’t just want to get rid of the dog, but he wanted to make sure no one came to save him. Evidently it wasn’t enough to abandon him, the dog had to die.

Fortunately, a passer-by looked inside the dumpster and saw something moving. He couldn’t believe his eyes, there was a little dog in the garbage. The puppy was immediately taken to the vet: he had diarrhea and was now dehydrated.

He was treated and recovered soon. He is currently doing well and is in an animal protection center where Robbin was baptized, by Robinson Crusoe.

We hope you are happy Robbin, you deserve it! And we hope that the unscrupulous person who treated you like this will be discovered and punished, he too deserves it ..

The abandoned dog in Madrid

The other of the two abandoned puppies was found in Madrid, also in a dumpster. In this case, the animal had its head closed in a bag; heavy bleeding suggested a blow with an ax or a knife.

The puppy still had the strength to cry dejectedly and the moan reached the ears of two veterinarians who, by pure chance, passed by. The animal was thus able to receive immediate medical attention and, at the moment, lives with the veterinarians.

We don’t know what they called you, but our best wishes go to you too.

It would be nice to see these people, unscrupulous and soulless, discovered and harshly punished, as it should be.

Enough with the mistreatment

Every day we read news of this type; you may be wondering what we can do to stop this situation. First of all, it is important to be aware of what it means to have a pet; make others understand too, create a social conscience. And above all, don’t buy animals, adopt them. Furthermore:

• Refuse to attend animal shows or attractions. Sometimes they are well kept, but too often they are trained by blows and punishments.
• Do not hesitate to report those who mistreat  and if you can, free the animal and take it to animal protection or to a veterinarian.

• Don’t buy animals, adopt them. The dogs put on display lead a life of hardship and often see siblings or friends die.
• If you have the time and passion, collaborate as a volunteer in animal shelters.
• Educate your children, from an early age, to understand that an animal is a living being to be loved, respected and protected.
