The second measurement will go from the center of the spine down, along the side of the dog that reaches the lower abdomen. This measurement will be multiplied by two, since it represents the width of the model.
The next measurement must be taken across the lower abdomen. This is a very important measurement as it will be the point where we will put the elastic or an adhesive band to make the dress fit her body.
Now you will need a pattern on which to trace the measurements of your dog with the help of a ruler. Depending on the size of your dog, you will need to divide the paper into two or three parts, leaving about 1.5 cm around each division, which will be used for the hem.
